Data wiping and disk destruction
When you are upgrading your data center and moving out old servers in favor of new equipment, secure data wiping and disc destruction is essential in order to maintain the security of clients’ data and to protect your brand. LSI Technology offers a range of data wiping and destruction solutions and documented procedures on offer to protect your data while you maximized your return on your equipment investments.
The process of data wiping is often referred to as secure data erasure. Where the client approves this option LSI Technology will wipe HDD in our secure lab using the industry leading Blancco Software which meets US Department of Defense standards. The Blancco system allows LSI Technology to provide certificates with evidence that the HDD or array has been thoroughly wiped.
Recycling
Environmentally-friendly and EPA-compliant disposal, including both the break down and recycling of equipment that cannot be reused or resold, is an important part of the ITAD process. Reverse logistics
